Scott, one of BTV

Scott, one of BTV’s associate photographers, called Dan and I to set up a session for him and his girlfriend Sierra. It wasn’t just any session, though Sierra thought it was. This was a surprise proposal session! We told Sierra that Scott was going to take some family photos for Dan and I and we were going to, in turn, take a few photos of the two of them for their Christmas card. After Scott took a few family stainless steel cleaner photos for us, we turned stainless steel cleaner our attention to the two of them. We set up what we like to call a “perspective shot”. Sierra in the foreground and Scott just behind her. Scott was so nervous and excited. Dan casually instructed stainless steel cleaner Sierra to turn around and glance at Scott. That’s when she saw him down on one knee holding a ring. Not just any ring though. It was a ring that contained the diamond her dad (who had passed away when she was younger) had given to his wife. It was a priceless moment. I think it’s the only time I struggled to take photos while tears streamed down my face. We’re so excited for these two and so happy to be a part of this very special moment
