Have had the day off from the races Thursday. Felled instead a gym pass from the morning focusing on the upper body. Not entirely wrong to read a little financial or peek at the Advent calendar on spinning bike either, easier to concentrate when the focus is more on recovery than achievement.
Starting to get a little worn out to sit on my little black ikea chair with a snoring roll of 28 square and pressing inside a study room at school with parts from the class all the time. Have sourced an exam on Monday in Marketing & a new waiting on Monday. Then I have "only" two to after Christmas, always something!
Moreover most of the interest for the sake of following up on the development of muscle mass and more. after the season's conclusion. Can clearly see that strength training seems to have made impact in races not conducted in the same amount as before in the context sofa cleaning of a more or less worn out knees.
In order to facilitate the frustration of not being able to "wear" on the races I have simply added more time on free weights and machines in the gym, which proved to alter muscle mass a lot in a relatively short time. Really think it's interesting to see how it actually can be changed relatively much. Have devoted as many hours in training but with more options exercise.
At present, however, feels the knees and hips so well that I run on completely on schedule. For variety's sake, I went out to the Hammarby hill to harvest scrape trail run of 11 km as one of today's sofa cleaning two sessions. Ended up with 2nd place after a period of about 54 min. Will be back with exact times later. Real tough trail course with wonderful challenges. Ended with running up the entire sofa cleaning hammarby slopes!
