Minister maid cafe of Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Hajah Jainab Datuk Ahmad Ayid said the trend parents are comfortable sending their children to the nursery than a housemaid pushed the nanny role as children's first teacher before entering pre-school. He said this to RTM in Kota Kinabalu when asked to elaborate on the importance of service and potential nanny profession. In this regard, maid cafe he said, the government will continue to monitor the quality of every nursery and child care in the state in ensuring availability and security of children is assured. Sabah has 191 registered nurseries involving 2-thousand 479 nanny for 4-thousand 60 children.
